H. What a zest for life – so many memories of you – Do you remember when dancing on a table in a pub in Llanwrst on St David’s Day – getting all the locals to sing along with - in competition with – our students? And yet ten minutes later you were checking the students into the bus and making sure each group had the right survey equipment before being dropped off in the mountains. Running field trips with you on hand we had it so easy! - organising the students with a no nonsense no argument style and yet at the same time being an ‘auntie’ figure for them. You were a great colleague and there were so many informal moments too to remember. Do you remember kayaking off the west coast of Kerrera and screaming (as you tended to do) with delight when you saw a dolphin? – all the seals in panic scrabbled for the safety of the sea and clouds of birds flapped into the air. You were so dependable but good fun to be with. We will miss you. Peter (and love from Janet).
