I only knew you for a few years Heather, but I valued your friendship greatly. When I walk round my garden I will always be reminded how much better it is for your intervention and advice! Your bravery over the past few months has been humbling to witness and you always managed a smile and a joke right until the last days, when you were still showing a caring interest in those around you, despite your obvious discomfort. You were a great lady, intelligent, caring and always fun to be with.I will have to find someone else to play Scrabble with now. My thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time.
