Dear Mum, I can’t believe it’s 5 weeks ago tomorrow that I kissed you goodbye for the last time. I am so very proud to be your daughter, and I hope that I can live up to your example. The way you dealt with the Motor Neurone Disease; you were always more concerned on how it was affecting us, than you. I have looked many dying people over the years, but never have I looked after someone who faced the end like you, with such dignity & serenity. One of your fears is that you would be forgotten; there is no way that anyone whose life was touched by you could forget. What’s more there are a lot of gardens throughout the UK and maybe further a field, which have benefited from your knowledge and care. Your were my best friend, confidant and a fantastic Mum. You will always be in my heart. Lots of Love Sian X
